If a vehicle, especially cars and trucks, is hitten by bullets and the engine or the wheels are red. And you checks the vehicle damage, it's still zero. If you destroy the vehicle complete it's working (1) but not before.
If you crash with a car or air vehicles and ships get damage by bullets (engine,rotor etc. is red) the command shows only very small damage (smaller than 0.1) but definitely lower as in version 1.34.
There is no difference between the commands "getdammage" and "damage" but the command "gethit" is working fine (engine 1 etc).
So that if you have a script,action or event thats checks the damage of the vehicle (dependents on the type and reason of damage) doesn't work anymore.
