Camera shake should be in gameplay settings like head bob. Totally optional and would help people with motion sickness. Those kind of camera effects are mostly optional in racing sims just for example.
Some people say camera shake isn't realistic fro them, some like the athenticity of it and some people gets just motion sickness. This should please people better so there's no forced on/off. {F25096}

Because the Camera shake now affects the difficulty (cam. shake when getting hit or suppressed makes aiming more difficult, it can make flying a damaged helicopter more challenging...) and it's an important part of the feedback we're leaning towards removing the option altogether.
Having a premise that no camera shake in vanilla game should be too strong to induce sickness - if you feel in some situations the cam. shake is too strong, please, let us know.
There's also a possibility to disable the camera shake via script command enableCamShake.
Cool. Hasn't really bothered me but I remember reading something back then when I wrote this ticket. One big issue back then (I guess it has been fixed already) was also the UAV camera shake that made the gunner sight shake like crazy when the UAV banks which was also likely the reason I made this ticket.
