MH-9/AH-9 Vortex Ring State Too Easy To Induce
New, WishlistPublic

Description

I feel that Vortex Ring State in general makes helicopter flight more interesting. However, in the case of the littlebird it is far too easy to induce.
I have noticed that the Orca, Mohawk, and Ghosthawk will enter VRS at a 6 m/s decent in a hover. This in my opinion is enough leeway to land these choppers quickly and safely. Yet, the Littlebirds will enter VRS at a 3 m/s decent this makes it very hard to land the helicopter quickly and safely. It takes between 8 and 10 seconds to touch the ground from 15m altitude with a decent of 2 m/s. It takes roughly 3-5 seconds to touch the ground at 5m of altitude with a decent of 2 m/s. That is far too long a time to be sitting still in a littlebird. It makes it hard to enjoy the AFM and the unique strengths of the littlebird at the same time.

Steps To Reproduce

Simple, Put either the MH-9 or the AH-9 in a hover with 10-30m of altitude with a speed of 0-15 Kph and descend at 3 m/s. The aircraft will start to shake and the rate of decent will increase rapidly.

Tested this with the new 1.36 RC build and VRS has been tweaked i feel to an appropriate level
