Title says it all. When ejecting from a jet as a civilian the error message "Bad vehicle type: ParachuteC" is shown.
Image attached which displays the error in action. I ejected from I_Plane_Fighter_03_AA_F in the image, however the same thing happens with all jets. {F24291}
Also didn't realize until recently that it also happens with helicopters. (Though I suspect the scripting for the action is much the same across all the vehicles that support it).
Proposed fix: Instead of choosing a parachute based on the side of the unit, choose it based on the faction of the vehicle.
Makes more sense that way anyway and eliminates an error message at the same time.
