Unable to retrieve scope from crate in training session, cannot go forward

Description

After target practice in 1st 'live' training session, told to get scope from crate, followed directions but scope not allowed to put on gun. Drag and drop however, when doing so equipment screen goes red, and not allowed.

Steps To Reproduce

Tried x 4 with different actions and/or movements and same result. After so many tries, the scope disappears and unable to 'see' contents of crate.
