An awesome feature to add to the arma 3 engine would be the ability to add a water height map at terrain creation to allow for water above sea level.
This would give terrain makers a huge advantage when making terrains.
Currently the only way to have water above sea level is by creating a p3d model object with a water simulation in the roadway lod and it is broken and doesnt work correctly.
The new way you would have a height map for the terrain and one for water and wherever the water height map is above the terrain height map is where you'll have water.
