AI pilots cannot maneuver fixed wing planes on taxi way.
New, WishlistPublic

Description

You cant get the AI to taxi fixed wing aircraft on the taxi way. Instead they only can go straight. Whatever "command" they are using to turn is not working the taxiway pedals.

Place either of the new CAS fixed wing jets on next to the hangar at the airstrip on Altis. Put down some waypoints (with turns) to have them navigate the taxiway out to the first runway. Watch as it fails to make the first turn.

From what I know jet pilots in arma will always head straight to the nearest taxi strip, head to the runway and take off before going through any waypoints, it has always been like that in the arma series.

Yes, you are right. I first tried that. I figured out what is going on.

The issue is that you can't park AI jets down at the military hanger at the North end of the Altis airbase. If you do, the AI will take the plane across the grass to the South end of the stip to takeoff. There is a tower in the way of this, and the jets get stuck.

If you park the jets at the South end it works fine.
