AI vehicles do not refuel at fuel stations. In ArmA 2, it was possible to order an AI vehicle to refuel (under actions). Also, the AI could detect a subordinate vehicle that's low on fuel and order it to refuel. Either way, the vehicle would find a source of fuel, refuel and then return to formation.

Steps To Reproduce
A) Lead another AI vehicle which is low on fuel. Select it and press Actions (6). Note that there are no refuel options.
B) Be in a subordinate vehicle that's low on fuel. Note that the leader never orders you or any other AI to refuel.
