From the begining of the episode 2 to Supply network, it isn't possible to display any subtitles even if the options Subtitle and Radio subtitle are enabled in the CONFiGURE GAME OPTIONS. I don't finished Adapt so I don't know if the issue exist all along the episode 2.

have you tried to disable the "steamfriendly UI" option in the configuration?
i accidently enabled it for a while, and i had my chatbox etc not displayed either in Multiplayer or Campaign/Scenarioes
