Some guns and vehicles with optical systems with zoom can zoom through nearby smoke, seeing through it. This is most evident in MBTs.
I have all graphic settings on low which may have influence.

Steps To Reproduce
Place an MBT anywhere with you as the commander, fire the countermeasure smoke launchers, then, observe how at lowest zoom level you can only see the smoke in front of you, but once you zoom in with the commanders camera or the gunners optics, you can clearly see through the smoke, with only a few small smoke particles around.
