Recently bought Arma 3 on steam but can't play as it constantly crashes just after splash screen and following black screen.

Things I tried already:

• re-installing game (including clearing folders in "Documents"
• video card drivers update for ASUS Matrix (Radeon 5870). Previously used beta driver, but updated to the most recent stable version which comes with CCC 13.12
• played with command line arguments (nobenchmark, nosplash, window, cpucount...) in different configurations
• using Windows Defender, but tried disabling it too
• killed all applications except steam
• switched to single display, as usually playing on 3 monitors
• tried the dev build too
