W,S,A,D keys remain active for 'movement input' despite being turned off (or remapped)

Description

I have the movement keys for the tank configured to UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT.
The keys W,S,A,D are remapped to fill in other tasks. These keys are not used for movement at all in my config setup (so also infantry, planes, helicopters, submarines have been set to use UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT instead of W, S, A, D).

Despite this remapping it seems the keys W,S,A,D are fixed to giving moving instructions to the tank.

Steps To Reproduce
  1. Remap the movement keys for the vehicles to UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT
  2. Make sure W, S, A, D are removed as movement keys for the vehicles
  3. Play the "Tanks showcase mission"
  4. Get in the tank
  5. Press W, S, A, D
  6. The tank will start moving forward/backward/left/right although it should NOT because you removed the keys W,S,A,D as movement keys within the configuration setup of the controls.
  7. This renders the remapping of W,S,A,D useless as they always conflict with other tasks you may have defined them for in the configuration setup of the controls when commanding the tank in the "Tanks showcase mission".
