It would be nice to be able to switch between the underwater ambient sound and the above one.
The best would be that the switch is automatic by detecting how you are positionned with respect to the sea level. Currently, if you flood Stratis or Altis by adjusting the sea class parameters, you here the cicadas under water ;).

yes and also the ambient sounds on the ground (insects, wind ect.). For me it would be more useful if the switch between ground/underwater ambient sounds was automatic, since the application I have in mind is flooding Altis, but for other things (submarine base maybe?), it could be useful to have a scripting command allowing to completely disable the ambient sound.
