The game will turn to a black screen (as if it ere changing the video setting) all sounds are ceased, then the screen remains until task manager is opened, which will immediately inform the user that Arma 3 has crashed/stopped responding. This will happen whenever shadow quality, cloud quality, HDR, or screen resolution is adjusted.
