Switching to tactical view changes the behavior of the commanding menu.

Example 1:

In tactical view when you select a menu option (keyboard 1-0) you must manually back out of the menu (default key backspace) after issuing any order. So if for example I want to order my units to disembark,hold fire, and get down I would press SELECT ALL UNITS > 4 > 1 > BACKSPACE > 3 > 2 > BACKSPACE > 7 > 8.
In regular view I would press SELECT ALL > 4 > 1 > 3 > 2 > 7 > 8.
So here's the problem: I'm already pressing a ton of keys in regular view. Most of the menus have options that I'm only going to pick 1 of - for example I'm not going to want to go to the formation menu and rapidly pick different formations or go the the target menu and rapidly pick multiple targets.

Example 2:
If you have a unit that is holding fire and you select it while in tactical view, the default choice on the scroll menu is 'Open Fire' instead of 'Move' like it normally is in regular view. Since tactical view is best suited for issuing 'Move' commands than anything else I would suggest this be changed. EDIT: This second example only happens if that unit is assigned a target - so I guess this is technically a 'feature' that was intended. But I doubt very much that anyone appreciates having to remember which control set they're using when things get hectic.

In summary it would be great if tactical view simply changed the view. The whole point of it I thought was so that you could order the AI around a building or somewhere else you can't point at directly - just change the view, not the controls.
