if you are driving fast with a car and have the gps open, you will see that the roads disappear as the gps zoomes out. having cars in game that can go ridiculously fast makes having the gps open while driving completely useless.
my suggestion would be to add a maximum zoom level to the gps so that the roads stay at least a little visible.
