To improve the situational awareness of drones and be able to integrate better among squads, several things have to be done:
- The heading of the drone's turret should be shown on the map of the player controlling it, like how currently his own heading is shown. Important: the heading of the turret itself, not the drone, should be shown.
- Squad level: Whatever the drone is pointing at, should be shown on the squad's map as a special marker.
- Entire team level: If the drone is laser painting something, it should appear for the whole team on the map. This should also be implemented to laser designators and other vehicle which utilize a laser designator. (SDV, mod vehicles etc..)
