Seems that you cannot enter a helicopter that is hovering very still aeven a foot above the ground. Pretty silly, all things considered. It'd be really nice if that wasn't the case, for quick insertions/extractions were touching down fully is too slow, or when the terrain doesn't allow touching down (such as a steep slope or terrace).
There's no reason that people wouldn't be able to climb in realistically.
