hy all there there is a serious problem into the game about the textures of walls and houses and really i dunno explain you if happens always(seems not) or ramdomly.
Like in arma II OA in the first months the game show deep problems about textures.They are like transparent for Ai and often AI can see you trhough them and shoot in more sometimes if you approach at a wall happens that your body
pass to other side without you move and anyway the wall don't stop your body.
Last important thing i have tested the skill abilities of AI using the start level of medium number setting and i have decreased it until arrived to 54!!!!!!
they still show some beavieurs like professionist assasinas....spotting enemies by too far distance also if there is fog and so on...the bushes seems don't stop
the viewing ability of AI anyway.I am not a programmer but i think that it would be possible using a way like this...the Ai when take a look in your direction must have a percentage of your body textures for to recognise you
if not you are for them nothing.It's the case when you are hidden behind a bush and a part of textures body of player are visible and not all body.Obviously if you move and the AI can hear your movements then it's another story.
In OA the Ai very often check the target identity beefore to shoot here instead
i have seen it very rarely they soot at you almost immediatly...that's wrong if you consider a distance more then 80 100 meters in perfect condition of visibility.anyway the Ai at medium distance would have a short time of doubts before to shoot....they would check and then fire.
THK all stuff for this very incredible product......more it is complex more is long the way for to have it perfect to play.
