Currently all factions share the same remote controlled weapon station, which is a bit disappointing to be frank. Unlike all other shared equipment it appears to be rather simple to add a different weapon station design. That includes the light variant (HMG/GMG only) and the combined one.

The basic functionality stays the same, but a unique design for each faction would stress the fact that those weapon systems are used by different political blocks.
