While you aim the periscope of the UDV you can get a whole bunch of information about where are you aiming: zoom, elevation, thermal imaging, etc.

But all this is useless because you can't get the direction of your aim -- compass is not available.

As a way to resolve this isuue I suggest adding the compass to the SDV's periscope -- it's obvious and makes a lot of sense.
