Support multiple units and targets in Artillery Computer
New, WishlistPublic

Description

Currently, there are two ways of shooting artillery (excluding scripted Firing):
a) Requesting artillery fire as an Infantry unit via Supports.

> Multiple Units all shooting a specified number of rounds at a single target.

Problem: Advanced tactics (e.g. widespread attack on multiple targets in a base) are not possible.
b) Being Gunner in an artillery unit and shooting manually/via the artillery computer.

> Only single unit (unless multiple players man multiple units in MP, but that is a waste of players) shooting one round at single target.

Problem: Very difficult for only one player to do more than one round/target.

Suggestion:

  1. When player is in command of multiple units, these can also be selected in the artillery computer.
  2. Ability to first select (multiple) targets (using normal LMB click) and then execute firing mission with a special button. When player is in command of only one unit, the unit fires the shots in sequence. Otherwise, the rounds are split up, e.g. 4 units, 8 targets: each unit fires twice.

Additional Information

It would be nice if we could fire more than 1 rocket in M5 Sandstorm MLRS at a time.
Also, it would be awesome if multiple targets could also be assigned using the Supports way (calling via radio).
