On the side you see the water walking up.

Judging by the lack of clouds I'd say you are playing on clear weather. The water is a mesh but waves vary based on the weather setting, if it's clear it will be flat, with lumps that grow larger and higher until you reach stormy weather.

The only thing that makes these look odd is that you doesn't have waves crashing upon the shore.
