I like to play as a combat medic. I recently set up a mission in which it would've been helpful to have binoculars, and as a medic, I did not by default. I waited until the assault began and attempted to loot binoculars off of a body. I must have checked 15 bodies and bout 6 classes, and none had binoculars. I knew snipers had some, so I killed a sniper but still no binoculars.
