The 9mm, 45 ACP, 5.56mm, 6.5mm, and minigun rounds don't do enough damage to players/NPCs, also lack penetrating power on most surfaces yet have huge recoils, one has to wonder what kind of inefficient guns they are building in 2035 where most of the energy from the round is expended into the firers shoulder and not on the target.
