The way you set the pace of the character by tapping "s" is very nice for patrol and observation. I think it would be great if the same could be done with land vehicles to be able to move at a patrol/observation pace when needed.

Maybe even the "slow gear" could represent 4 wheel drive and enable going up steeper gradients but I don't know enough about the actual military vehicles to know if this is realistic.
