Modern tanks are starting to use cameras instead of windows in tanks. If ArmA III takes place in the near future, then should'nt this be a normal thing? I'm talking something along the lines of what the SDV has. I, for one, have always been a huge fan of tanks in ArmA. I have acknowledged that the little window in the others is ok, as at the time that was normal. But now we are in the future, and cameras seem to be a better alternative for extra-vehicular view.
