Seriously, they decided, and I agree with their decision. Setbacks are better than cockups. Not good, but not the worst either. The worst outcome would be another broken wreck of a campaign in the game.

Campaign is good - more assets for modders, bring it on finished on unfinished! Upvoted

To everyone who doesn't understand: there will be a campaign and everybody who has the game will get it. It will just be released some time after the game's release.
