Tank and high caliber rounds ricochet.
New, WishlistPublic

Description

Now I know what I'll get into response to this, I know Arma 3 is Directed to Infantry combat, but I would still like to see this implemented into the game.

The ability to be able to hit enemy armour and the round either penetrated the armour or ricochet off the sloping part of the Armour Bit like World of tanks in that regard but also know the mod for Arma 2 I44 has played around with the ability to this, so I think because Arma 3 has in build physic X it would be a good thing to add, the fact you have to be careful with facing your tanks and the tactic used by either terrain or objects.
Let me know what you think.

On the contrary, you will that find many people from the various communities agreeing that they too would like to see such features.

@NodUnit

What?

I'm surprised noone else has put this up.. or maybe they had. I tried looking but didst see any.Anyways asking for this, not just for the hell of it.. but too insure that everything in game.. has a point. We see in Arma 2 that most tanks are pretty useless one RPG or one shot anywhere from any distance will kill a tank. I would like to see the Tank to be a Role we Want too use. I didt see many Tank battles in Arma 2 as I saw in OFP and Arma 1 I long too seee a Giant tank battle.. not just charging at each other.. but using ground and Objects to conceal themselves.

The rounds do this when they hit objects in game, I guess they could copy that code and a apply it to vehicles.

@ProGamer

Well, maybe for certain angles (e.g. the Marshall's frontal armour), but it would be retarded if it was applied to all parts of the vehicle.

Wat. This already happens. Rarely, but it happens.

In addition to this sabots should be able to go trough whole vehicle if vehicle's armor is thin don't doing too many damage (they only destroy thing on their way without fragmentating in such situation) as it is in Steel Beasts PRO PE (most realistic armor simulation availble for CIVs) and OFC in real life.

In SB PRO PE i do not using 125, 120 and 105mm sabots against BRDM-2 and BTR-80 because they often go trough it and if i am lucky i can kill some personel inside with such sabot, if not vehicle will not get any damage (just a 2 small holes that are not visible in SB anyway). This forces me to use HEAT or HESH ammo instead of sabots and that is good cause its realistic. I'd like to see this on ArmA 3.
