The ambient sounds are not coming from any particular direction. This can make me feel disoriented sometimes as it feels quite unnatural.
The best (I think) would be if ambient sounds, like the wind in the trees, are played from actual trees. An easy fix though would be if the sound is, like as it is right now, played character centric but doesn't rotate with the character. I think that would create the illusion of the ambient sounds being positional.

Steps To Reproduce
Stand somewhere and listen to the sounds of nature and rotate. The sounds will keep playing as if you were not rotating.

Yes those sounds, in first person. They rotate with you. As I don't play in 3rd person I don't know how that works.
