I don't feel that I'm swimming, specially when I stop and the weapons come back. I feel like I still was on ground.
Why do show the arms moving (from the 1st person) like battlefield 3 to make the situation more realistic.

If you look downwards while swimming on the surface you can see your arms
If you're swimming with a Wetsuit and rebreather you swim in "tactical" stance with just 1 arm in front to keep the stability, which is intended.

When you are swimming with fins you almost never use hands to swim. When you stop to swim hands are around you.
