Every time I start up the game I get a crash to desktop. Sometimes the graphics driver is restarted.
I have 3 monitors connected, but only one for the game, all the monitors flashes like I unplug them and plug them in again {F19072} {F19073}

Right click on Arma III in your Steam Library>Properties>Set launch options

I got the same issue as him (but with one monitor), and -nobenchmark don't fix the problem.
My config :
i52500k
HD 6870
8 gb ram

Not the same error this time, added -nobenchmark and:
Started up, didn't come to any loading screen (just black screen)
Then instead, it minimized to tray. Clicking it didn't get any result.
I had to close the process in Task Manager

It works now. I don't know if it was the last update or another thing which was the solution (I didn't do anything actively)
