The collective lever and rudder pedals on rotary-winged aircraft do not move when changing altitude or yaw.
In reality, moving the "collective lever" up or down changes the helicopter's altitude, and pushing each pedal changes yaw. {F18447}

When in a rotary-winged aircraft, change altitude, and look at your collective stick, usually located to the port-side (left hand side) of the pilot. It remains stationary, when it should be moving. Likewise for pedals.
