Only happens to me so far (my friends have not experienced this). When playing in a lan game, near the south tip of Stratis is a large rock formation (NNE of the The Spartan). When I move within ~100m of this and look at it the game will hang.
This doesn't seem to happen when running the showcase missions.
This also happens with other rock formations around the island, but is always reproducible for me at that location.

This happens in both Alpha and Alpha dev.
Turns out it was a corrupted installation. While trying to set up mission to upload I noticed that I was getting ""user" uses modified data file" when I didn't modify anything. I deleted my local files and re-downloaded and it's now fixed.
