I tried to change the video settings when the game crashed. I also tried accessing the gear menu of an ammo box when the game crashed, I later tried it on vehicles and AI, the game still crashed.

- Try to access video settings from main menu.
- Try to get the gear off of a dead soldier, ammo box, vehicle.
Additional Information
As stated above I have a Windows 8 OS. I bought the deluxe version as well, don't know if that will help.
