I'm having somewhat the same issue. I can get as far as the 'class selection screen' (Machine gunner, Marksman etc.) and the game will literally stop there. Sometimes it stays frozen for up to 5 minutes. Granted it doesn't actually crash but its definitely enough that I have to Ctrl, Alt, Delete to get out of it at times. Sometimes it works fine then other times it freezes and goes no further.

when the game freezes, If you have a mouse pointer on the screen and you hover over where the "...has stopped working" dialog usually pops up(about dead center)then the pointer changes to a windows system pointer. I use this when possible to see if the game is just slow in loading or has crashed. saves waiting 5 minutes before giving up lol

When reporting crash in MP ,
please state TYPE and NAME of the MISSION/MOD you are playing, how many players were playing at the time etc. Try to provide as much info as possible.
If the crash is happening when playing custom MAP/MOD,try to reproduce the crash also on our official Arma III missions.

Which mods do you play?
Do you have same issue when you play Escape from Stratis or Headhunters?

Apologies milhaus, this was happening on several game types not just one in particular. No multiplayer games have done this today will update with all info should it happen again
