MSI Afterburner/Random Crashes
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

In depth with MSI Afterburner;

I launch most of my games with this program working in the background to keep from my games crashing constantly due to my GPU crashing without it.

So when I launch your game from STEAM, the launcher comes up, loads everything. But does not go to a boot up screen like it normally would.

I can launch the game fine, without it, but then I will just inevitably crash in game at some random point. So I need to ALT+TAB to get to my desktop, and re-launch MSI Afterburner.

When I do get in game, and I have MSI Afterburner launched. I could be playing for anywhere from 10 minutes, to an hour, when a random crash could occur. Most of the times it's when I am trying to kill someone, of course.

If you are not able to runs other games without MSI afterburner running, its definitely your GPU which is causing this issue.

I suggest updating to the latest GPU drivers using clean install, check if your GPU is not overheating and also not overclocked.

Also, just in case, check if you are not running xFire, Mumble or Zone Alarm.

Closing as this is not Arma 3 related issue. Its GPU/Afterburner related
