I run the game through Steam, usually hoping for updates.

Upon playing I find I need to quit the game often, and as in ArmA II you can use ALT + F4 to safely quit the game (It prompts you first before quitting).

So I have been using this method in ArmA III.

However after so many ALT - F4 sessions (for reasons such as feeding my little boy or popping to the shop or the missus needs to use the computer) the game will not start at all in Steam/Exe.

I do not get any error messages or black screen at all. You see the loading icon on your mouse then it disappears after 5 seconds. And the exe appears in the Task Manager and then disappears.

This is only remedied when the computer has restarted OR if you keep trying to run the game a number of times.

I have searched for important keywords to see if there is a similar thread on the tracker, however I have not found one.

So far this has always happened every time i do it. I cannot give exact numbers, as it is always random. But when the game runs, it works abso-perfect.

Strange issue.
