OS is Win7 64 bit, forgot to select that whilst reporting the issue. I can be moved into an empty slot by a server admin, or join an empty slot if I am hosting myself, but not join an empty slot myself on a server I am connecting to.

I have a similar problem, it can be circumvented by having a server admin boot you, and then reconnecting immediately to the same server. Unsure what causes it. I'm on Windows 7 x64. Additionally, it does the same thing for me in ARMA 2 Steam, with or without mods.

I will post more technical information later.

Edit: I too can be manually slotted by an admin on that first connection, however when they do so, often the game crashes or I disconnect after that.

I got this issue today when I opted into the Development build. Sounds like they completely fucked up the MP with the new update.

You should join development build servers with development build client and opposite stable build servers with stable build client.

That's a shame a server hosts don't mark if their server needs deelopment build or not.

Hi Avi - I've not opted in to the dev build and I'm 99% sure the servers I was trying to join weren't dev builds either but I'll go check.

Edit - confirmed, this is happening on servers that describe themselves as being both dev build and non-dev bulid.

My issue was both before and after the update as well.

I've now redownloaded and reinstalled the game and the problem still occurs exactly as before.

Please let us know in note section if you are still able to reproduce this issue in latest Developement build.
