Machine Gun Rate of Fire Varies with the Current Frame Rate
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

A machine gun, infantry carried, vehicle mounted, or whatever, does not fire at a constant rate. At a high frame rate, an MG fires more rapidly, and at a slower frame rate, it fires more slowly. This is especially noticeable with very rapid firing MGs, like the speed boat Gatling gun.

Steps To Reproduce
  1. Find a place where you can look in two different directions and have two noticeably different frame rates.
  2. Tap F to see the round count.
  3. Fire in one direction.
  4. Fire in the other.
  5. Notice the obvious difference in speed, which can be observed by listening, watching the recoil, or watching the round count box.
Additional Information

I think that this happened in Arma 2 too.
