Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Placed third party mission pbo's in the missions folder via C/Steam/steamapps/Arma3/Missions, started the game up but the missions are not present.

Did the same by exporting a mission to Single player but could not locate it.

So far you can only play showcase missions in SP and/or editor made missions (those located in documents\ArmA3 Other Profile\username\missions) .

Custom SP missions are not supported unless you de-pbo them and put them in the editor missions folder

Since Bohemia advertises modding and scenario editors in the Alpha features, I think it would be fair to allow users to play the custom SP scenarios others have created.

They advertise editor, not custom SP missions.. editor can be used for MP too, you know..

Yes but is there any reason to limit custom scenarios to MP only?
Some people prefer SP, and might assume that modding includes the ability to play custom missions.

By doing the steps that i described you can play SP missions, there's just the "SP mission" menu missing but it's easily self-fixed

Relax guys. This feature has existed in every BI title since OFP. They'll get it working, just don't argue in the bug report notes.

We are very sorry, we do not guarantee that user generated content such as mods, scripts, maps etc. will work all time during developement of the game. It is up to users themself to make sure their work is 100% compatible with current version of the game.

We thank you for reporting this issue, but try contacting author of this content to fix it.
