Can't join friends via invite – “View in PS Store” error
Awaiting internal Testing, NormalPublic

Description

I’m playing DayZ on PS4 and trying to join my friends who play on PS5 using the same version of the game (1.27).

When I receive a party invite and try to join them, I get the message: “View in PlayStation Store”, as if I don’t own the game — even though I clearly do.

The only workaround is to search the server name manually and join that way, which is frustrating.

Please fix this issue or clarify if the party invite system is broken between PS4 and PS5 users using the PS4 version

Steps To Reproduce
  1. Launch DayZ on PS4.
    1. Have a friend playing DayZ on PS5 (using the PS4 version via backwards compatibility).
    2. Friend sends a party/game invite.
    3. Accept the invite from the PS4 menu or directly from the game.
    4. A message appears saying “View in PlayStation Store” instead of joining the game.
    5. Only workaround is to manually search and join the server by name
Additional Information

This issue happens even though both players have the same game version (1.27) and the same server is joinable manually. Reinstalling the game did not solve the problem. The PS5 user is using the PS4 version of DayZ through backwards compatibility. The invite system seems to treat it as incompatible or unowned content

Hello Ryonsilgn.
We have been testing this on our end but we were unable to reproduce the issue.
Can you show us a video? Is there any info you possibly have missed that would help us in producing the issue?
