Latency Issues/Loading Problems
Reviewed, NormalPublic

Description

Hello! As of recent, I’ve had major issues with dayz which pretty much leaves me stuck on the loading screen of the server lists, the actual loading bar itself when I’m loading into the server and being frozen in the server itself (sorta). Allow me to explain in the best of my capabilities, Anytime I click on a server it ends up doing one of the following, I either am frozen on the server page after I click on a server to play or I’m frozen on the loading screen itself after I wait out the timer. This happens about 80% of the time. Now, if I’m lucky enough to bypass this and I can actually load into the game, time will pass and everything will be fine.. until it isn’t. Numerous times I will be playing with my friends and I’ll random freeze in time on the server. Whenever this happens, everything around me is frozen but I’m still moving.. like latency. While everything is frozen, I’m able to move but I can’t do anything and while all of this is going on.. I’m frozen on my friends screen and it tends to lead to my death. I don’t get any latency bars once this happens and I don’t get kicked off the server either. My friends can hear me fine and I’m not lagging outside of the game either. Nothing that I’m aware of triggers this, it happens randomly. I test my internet, I’ve deleted the game, I’ve deleted my saved data.. nothing seems to help and I’m at a loss. This happens on Vanilla servers and Community servers alike. It’s probably my internet related but I don’t understand why I have issues playing dayz and no issues outside of it.. if anyone can please give me advice I’d greatly appreciate it. Much love and thank you for your time

Hello Dxlta.
This seems like some sort of network issue on your end, where your network has trouble communicating with the server correctly.
Regards,
Geez

Hello Geez!
Yes you are absolutely right about the network issue!
I found out the solution to my problem, turned out to be a MTU issue on my end. I apologize for the disturbance and im appreciative of your feedback and time in general. Thank you my friend and I hope you have an amazing day. GodBless
