Description

Painting a large forest or using a spline with a forest generator causes the editor to have a severe performance hiccup and hinders game performance as well, due to an error that is being spammed in the console. There seems to be no auto occlusion when using the generators, and I can not find any documentation or information regarding optimization for large forests or areas of entities.

Steps To Reproduce

Either:

  1. Paint an area with a selection of entities from the vegetation > forest prefab folder, ideally 3-4 different types
  2. Make some of it sparse and some of it dense, but do not let it break over a large portion of land
  3. Run PIE and hover the camera around that area, or place a character in game master in the area and check the console

Or:

  1. Create a closed spline with a forest generator over a large chunk of land
  2. Run PIE and hover the camera around that area, or place a character in game master in the area and check the console
Additional Information

The only way I've been able to get rid of the error mostly is by drastically reducing the sizes of my forests. If there's a way around this and there are optimization steps, please let me know and I can attempt them on my forests, otherwise it will just be purely tree and vegetation entities placed everywhere.
