This is my second post, I am not sure if my first post reached out to anyone but I'll give it another try. I started playing Dayz again since Fall 2024, the game worked fine until my last Dayz session in around the 2nd week of December 2024. I came back to the game after new year around 2nd week of January, found my game without audio. As i specified in my previous report, Dayz is the only game/program that has no audio. I am not sure what would've caused this and I'm still trying to find a fix and answer.
I browsed the web and even dm'd some fellow players of the community who have experienced the same issue in the past. Out of all i dm'd, 2 of them just said that the game got fixed by itself.
I have tried the following solutions (found on internet and even troubleshoot);
- Reinstalling Drivers
- Changing Audio Format
- Reinstalling the game/Verifying the games files
- Checked if my audio device is connected (Multiple times)
- Updated the firmware of my Audio Device
None of those worked and I'm still stressing out figuring what it might be.
My only thought right now is, assuming that the latest Windows 11 messed up something within my game even if i reinstall it multiple times.
My last resort solution would be factory reset my laptop, hoping that it would work. For now I'll wait for a response, since i cannot reset my laptop as of now.
Apparently it's not the first time that this happened and all report from other players that encountered this issue are all left unanswered.
