With inventory menu open, when I press to equip an item that contains slots, like a belt, directly from the vicinity window, I lose my currently equipped item(s).

So I found a belt to replace the one I had. I had equipped a holster and canteen and I lost those items when I equipped the new belt from the vicinity menu.

This also happens with other items like clothing and weapons.
