Dear [bistudio/Team],
Currently, when a DayZServer starts, it automatically registers with the Steam Master Server and appears in the community server browser list. However, this results in the server's primary IP address being exposed publicly on the internet. This exposure allows malicious users to scan the list of online servers using APIs or scripts and launch indiscriminate attacks (such as DDoS), severely impacting server stability and community operations, especially in the Asia region.
Request for Solution:
To address this issue, we would like to request a way to:
1.Completely hide the server's primary IP address from public exposure.
2.Allow the server to operate without appearing in the community server browser.
3.Implement an option to mask the server's IP address for enhanced security.
4.Such measures would help reduce the likelihood of servers being targeted by malicious actors and improve the overall server security and stability for DayZ community server operators.
5.Add authentication for accessing the DayZ server list via the Steam API to protect private server rights and prevent misuse for malicious attacks.
Thank
