The taiga still causes crashes in elimination and may in other game modes as well, can't really get a video of it because after the game crashes xbox does not allow a video to be taken.

Steps To Reproduce
Just shoot people with the taiga, generally crashes a random person, especially when the final kill of a round is with a taiga

Have noticed that the Vintorez (purple svu) sometimes causes crashing as well in elimination when the last person killed in a round is with it.
