Up until 1.05 the player used to spawn with a road flare in their inventory, however this was changed to the glow stick because people were using the road flare to ignite their rags to suicide (I presume this was the reason). In a recent update the spawn system was changed to where the spawn point was fixed to a specific town for a few minutes at a time, meaning that players can no longer suicide immediately after spawning to get a different spawn point as they will just spawn back in the same town. Taking this into consideration, it would now make sense for the player to spawn with a road flare again.

The reason I'm requesting this is because on 1st person servers the nights are incredibly dark and a glow stick is nowhere near bright enough. I tend to find myself logging off at night times on 1st person servers as its unplayable. I enjoy the challenge of darker nights however I do still want to be able to see where I'm going, especially if I've only just spawned in and cant even tell where I am.
