Death GUI no longer functional on controller

Description

I don't understand how a bug like this my self as a fellow game developer but it hopefully Is an easy fix and can included in the new patch before launch! I do appreciate your work as much of a mess the game is.

It looks to be a bug issue when the GUI opens and closes again its near instant but you can clearly tell. Probably something inside their loop.

Steps To Reproduce

Steps

  1. Die.
  2. When you're dying and see the light fade from your eyes open the death menu
  3. Keep death menu open until screen is completely red and animation has happened (you can tell by it closing its self then reopening again, looks like a loop issue)
Additional Information

I am using the Series X and have not tried on another other console. I don't know if its something to do with frame rate/performace of the console.

Forgot to mention you can fix this by reconnecting your controller.
